Responsible for all aspects of Customer Services/Sales Administration.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Build good working relationships with Customers, Suppliers & all internal Departments/Personnel.
  • Input & process orders identifying and acting on ensuring the requirements of the customer’s delivery date is adhered to.
  • Produce reports required for Customers – i.e. stock reports.
  • Produce reports for Sales Representatives & Management as required.
  • Liaising with Production, Sales Managers, Shipping, Hauliers and Admin regarding orders & customers.
  • Identify & resolve customer enquiries & queries.
  • Provide full information on any customer complaints to the Quality Manager using the quality reporting procedures.
  • Ensure procedures & policies are followed and updated.
  • Be proactive in customer care & order requirements.
  • Liaise & update Sales Representatives regularly on all customer interactions.
  • Assist in exhibition planning & attend exhibitions, as required.
  • Answer phones professionally & promptly.
  • Keeping up to date with product knowledge.
  • Continuous improvements within the role & with other departments.
  • To provide ad hoc support to the Customer Services team in the execution of their role.
  • Comply with all policies & procedures to ensure a safe & healthy working environment is maintained.
  • Abide by the company’s environmental & quality management procedures.
  • Carry out any reasonable duties we request that are within your abilities, irrespective of grade/skill level.
